A freelance project from the US focused on helping a restaurant improve its digital experience by enabling online reservation and online delivery features for customers.
After experiencing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant owner realized the importance of having a digital platform that could provide customers with a moreaccessible and convenient experience. The restaurant still relied on manual reservations and offline interactions, which often created inefficiencies and made it difficult for customers to access services quickly and comfortably.
Through discussions with the owner and research on customer behavior, it was found that users preferred fast, simple, and user-friendly digital experiences when making reservations or ordering food online. However, the restaurant did not yet have a platform with a clear user flow, intuitive navigation, or a responsive interface that could support these needs. This became the main reason for designing a modern and accessible website focused on improving the overall user experience through seamless online reservations and delivery services.


Many restaurant websites still focus only on providing basic information without considering the overall user experience, causing customers to face problems such as confusing navigation and complicated booking flows. In this project, the restaurant still handled reservations manually and relied on external platforms for delivery services, resulting in a lack of seamless and user-friendly digital experience for customers. As customer behavior shifted toward online interaction after the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant needed a modern UI/UX solution that could provide intuitive navigation, simple interaction flows, responsive design, and visually engaging interfaces to make online reservations and food ordering easier, faster, and more convenient .

Adults in the United States who frequently use digital platforms for everyday activities, including food ordering and restaurant reservations. They are accustomed to fast and convenient online services and expect restaurant websites to provide a smooth, accessible, and mobile-friendly experience. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, online dining services have become a common part of their lifestyle, increasing the need for seamless digital interactions.

Once the main issues were clearly defined, we began exploring design ideas for the Snake and Ladder learning platform. The goal of this phase was to transform traditional quiz activities into a more engaging and playful learning experience that could increase students’ motivation. We focused on determining the essential UI/UX components that would support the experience, such as the game board interface, quiz interaction, leaderboard, and class management features. At the same time, we structured the information architecture to keep navigation clear and easy for elementary school students. To better understand how the product would work, we developed low-fidelity wireframes that illustrated the layout, core interface elements, and the overall user flow of the platform before moving forward to the visual design stage.
Our goal is to provide customers with a smooth and accessible digital dining experience where they can easily make reservations and order food online. The platform should help users access restaurant services quickly through a simple, intuitive, and mobile-friendly interface that makes the overall experience more convenient and enjoyable. \

The project also demonstrates how thoughtful UI/UX design can improve customer satisfaction by reducing friction during the ordering and reservation process. Through responsive layouts, clear interaction flows, and visually engaging interfaces, Garden Bistro creates a modern digital dining experience that feels both convenient and enjoyable.
